1. What We Use

- Authentication tokens (JWT in localStorage) — required to keep you signed in
- Active store / active organization identifiers — required for multi-store accounts
- CSRF protection cookies — required to prevent cross-site request forgery
- Session cookies — required to operate the cashier app and storefront cart
1.2 Functional
- Theme preference (dark/light) — remembers your visual preference
- Sidebar scroll position — preserves navigation state across page changes
- Recently used filters and views — improves your experience on returning to a page
- IndexedDB caches — the cashier app caches product catalog, departments, promotions, tax rules, deposit rules, and quick-button layouts to support offline operation
1.3 Analytics
We use server-side analytics derived from authenticated request logs to understand feature usage. We do not deploy third-party advertising trackers.
2. Managing Cookies
Most browsers allow you to refuse, block, or delete cookies. Note that strictly necessary cookies and storage are required for the platform to function — disabling them will prevent you from signing in or operating the cashier app.
