Does setting an expiry date change my stock counts?
No. Expiry tracking is separate from inventory. The on-hand and retail value columns are read from your existing stock so you can see the exposure, but adding, editing or clearing a date never adjusts quantity on hand.
Is the expiry date the same across all my stores?
No. Expiry is tracked per store, so the same product can have a different date at each location. Confirm the active store before adding dates.
Do I need an add-on for it?
No. Expiry Tracker is a base feature on both Starter and Pro, under the Catalog group in the sidebar. There is no separate add-on to buy.
Can I tag many products at once?
Today you set dates one product at a time, by scan or search. For a received case of the same short-dated item, set each line as you put it on the shelf.
